Yes, we always welcome walk-ins but if you know you are coming, get in touch and we’ll make sure we have a table for you.
All the parking in Burford is free.
There are plentiful parking spaces in Burford’s Church Lane and Priory Lane car parks. Both within easy reach of the cafe.
You can also park on the High Street (the only restriction is a 2 hour parking limit from 11am – 4pm on one side).
Thyme & Lovage is the creation of Hubert Kosmala, a chef restaurateur with twenty years’ experience working in some of the best restaurants in the UK, including riverside restaurant Pissarro in Chiswick and Bishopgate’s Balls Brothers.
Michelin-trained pastry chef Cindy Kosmala, is behind (and in front of) Burford’s acclaimed High Street favourite Hugo Lovage Patisserie.
She is very much part of the Thyme & Lovage team … your sweet afternoon treats are created in the Hugo Lovage pastry kitchen.
Absolutely, we are a family business and love welcoming families to the cafe, we have high chairs and children’s portions available.
